In anticipation of Christmas, homes are decorated and Christmas trees are erected at strategic places in the homesteads. This is the period when rural homes become lively as most town dwellers head to their rural homes for a break after a tiring year of jostling and hustling at work. Also, wreaths are the agglomeration of twigs, leaves, fruits, flowers and other various materials that are built to form rings and garlands, which are the decorative cords or wreaths that are hanged around the Christmas tree and all other places in the house.

Further to that, this is one period when you can stay assured that someone will give you a gift. Gift exchange hands as people feel generous. Family reunions are conducted and people become more forgiving, this is without mentioning the new Christmas clothes especially for kids. Christmas is indeed the best celebration of the year.

The ways people celebrate this day vary from country to country, from one culture to another. The food that people feast on, the clothes they wear and the music they listen and dance to vary. The Christmas music conveys what we feel that we can’t tell.  There are numerous Christian denominations today in the world and each has its own types of music that they prefer singing during this memorable occasion. Be it Catholics, Jehovah’s Witness, the Anglican and a million other ministries around the globe.

Each of the songs gives inspiration and hope, they help Christians hope for a better tomorrow, despite the daily cup of challenges they are exposed to. The feeling for a better tomorrow strengthens Christian faith and makes them believe more in the living God.
